joystick T. Flight X + TWCS Throttle joystick works in the elite dangerous ?

I am thinking of buying a throttle to add to my joystick but I don't know if it will work on Elite Dangerous as you may not recognize throttle in the game settings, there are packs with the joystick and throttle but it is cheaper if you buy only throttle.
I have a thrustmaster T. Flight X joystick and would like to add a TWCS Throttle is also of the same brand, will the throttle work on Elite Dangerous with the joystick or do I have to buy the TWCS Throttle plus the joystick T .16000M FCS?

That slider thing on the stick? That's just an axis on the device, the TWCS will be a separate device.

Just wanted to chime in to confirm, I have that exact throttle with a different joystick (and my joystick also has the extra "throttle") and the REAL throttle works as expected. Loooove it in VR!
