Its official the UK has gone Thrustmaster Hotas X mad. Cant find one for sale anywhere for a decent price... anyone got any suggestions? Inside info?

Sounds like an opportunity for a few good trade runs as long as they aren't prohibited in hat system.
Too bad HOTAS are no commodity in ED, this would be gold rush! 
Really the advantage is all in the throttle and the POV's which is why everyone has gone nuts for HOTAS.
So...
Dont even look at the Warthog unless you wish to sacrifice a small child to evil demons (around £240).
The Saitek X-55 Rhino £160 more buttons and split throttle.
I have the Saitek X52 Pro which is around £130 new. There is a cheaper version the x52 around £100.
Best Budget version is the T-flight HOTAS by Thrustmaster £35.99 (It doesn't seem to come any cheaper than that well maybe a quid or so).
There isn't much variation on price that I found though I did see some X52's going on ebay second hand which were reasonably priced by close of auction.
Unfortunately the problem is the "going mad" bit. It's all to do with supply and demand..
