see my sig, my love for Dread goes way back. Yeah I know thats Judge death but hey if JD is coming to TV and its as good as the one with Karl Urban, and not the one with Stallone which was utter tosh then it will be a great day to get ugly, ;)

Well... Let's just say i'm somewhat familiar with the ice cold blooded unforgiving hardbutt cop role. :D (did i mention i hate swear filter?)

Anyway, the 2012 remake was better, but i personally liked more the 1995 movie costume, especially the helmet, the newest is somehow looks stupid to my eyes. That X in the middle and the whole look? Some thing only looks good in comics, and cartoons like anime, and this helm. But if you make a real movie from it, or just trying to make a real life modell? Errr...

Let's be honest! the 1012 either not a cult movie, but good enough to look multiple time if you like this kind of movies. It's just not something what going to remembered by everyone 30-40 years later like SW. It can be done much more better, there are room to improve it. :)

The helm? This is the joke! They are showed the dumber one, and took down the good one. :D
And wanna guess what's going to be the second joke? If they are change it. The uproar within the fans???

My initial reply was a little brief, sorry. I'm as excited about this as you are :D I thought he was great as Dredd, and have remained disappointed that no sequel has been made. The first time I saw Dredd I thought it looked like a pilot for a very good TV show - would be great if that's essentially what it's become.

There's a car from it not very far from my house. Even that's not enough to make up for removing the helmet, though.

I am almost ashamed to say I have never seen that film. It is one of so many that just passed me by while my children were very young but it is one that I keep on thinking I need to dig out... actually, I probably ought to finish the Watchmen film as well.

The prospect of a TV series is just awesome though...if they can do it justice (please forgive the painful pun) there is so much great material available. Mega City One is such a great setting and is probably even more relevant now than when it was created 40 years ago.

Just imagine if they could do a story based around The Midnight Surfer...
