jump capable Condor - a dream

Since the beginning of playing Elite Dangerous I wanted a small and fast fighter. A small ship, nothing more.
Ever since I saw the Condor I wanted to fly it. It just looks beautiful (huge praise for the designers of the Elite ships btw the ships are all looking great).

Ever since CQC I wanted the Condor to be a ship I could use in Elite Dangerous, not just as a SLF, but as a real spaceship.

Now looking at the Sidewinder and all the class 2 modules, why can't we get a slightly bigger Condor with all class 1 modules?
Tiny FSD, tiny thrusters, tiny fuel scoop (absolutely needed)…
Wouldn't it be cool to really fly a Condor (or Taipan or Imp. fighter) and go crazy engineering it and then fly around doing little data courier missions and maybe some RES missions or transport one ton (max) somewhere?

The essence of what I consider great in this game - flying around in a spaceship.

The absolute best thing would be if we would be able to use that jump capable Condor as a SLF (obviously without the ability to "print" it a few times).

Just dreaming.
Please FD, give me a jump capable Condor. Please.

Really? Was that pre release? Maybe my memory is not as good, but I can't remember seeing a Condor in SC since I started playing (1.0).

Now I want a jump capable Condor even more.

Don't know.
Edit: probably more, maybe much more, than a 2A FSD. Small tech usually costs more.

I only know that I want a jump capable Condor.

I love the cockpit of the Condor. It's a great tight space in VR, the HUD is also very close to the face which makes it feel different to the regular ships. I'd love to spend more game-time in a Condor so I'd be in for an Engineer to wedge a FSD into it

Yeah, I noticed a massive drop in my crewman performance when switching to the Condor - because the thrusters suck so hard, even my Elite crewman can't aim very well or do any decent evasive stuff lol

I want one to. In 2.3 they have doubled the output of the lateral thrusters. The should be able to fly now.

Although I hadn't thought about it much, I like the idea of a really small ship -- SRV size, which is pretty much what the SLFs are. No cargo carrying capacity, can't carry an SRV obviously, but just a tiny ship that is very fast, fragile, and fun to fly.

I could get into that, yes
