Jump Range - Annie vs. DBX

Hi,

I did some playing around with ship builds now I have the funds and ability to engineer at will.

I've flown the Annie for a long time and engineered it extensively.

Empty, she has an 80 Ly jump range, and fully equipped for exploration, 72 Ly.

I built two DBX builds: a very cool runner because I want to smuggle, and an engineered explorer.

This is where things get crazy.

The fully equipped DBX explorer build WITH WEAPONS still has a 75 Ly jump range??!!!

It includes 2x planetary hangars and shields.

My modified build includes lightweight mods, and Guardian FSD booster.

If I strip out the planetary hangars, I still get around 75 Ly jump range.

The DBX is running so cool I can even charge FSD for the next jump while scooping.

Needless to say, I'm taking the DBX out into the void! I had previously taken the Annie, but this thing is insane!

It's not even the best it could be - I can lose even more weight.

Ship builds to follow.

My annie is 15% hot in SC, can jump from scooping too.
Also if i left 1 free slot there, she jumps 76.xx, if I put fighter or extra fuel she do 72-74.
Also she has everything on board to never dock back. Everything can be repaired except 100% lost canopy.
And she can mine and waste fuel using plasma gun too.
And she is not finished yet. Working on last engees in Colonia.

Conda turns like a truck on ice. Everything takes a lot of time when it comes to turning the Anaconda.

Repair limpets are so 2020.. We have dssa now.

So would you say there isn't a point to using the Conda for exploration anymore?

That is best I like of it. I can charge using NS and alt-tab to another window. She sits steady and safe in beam. Unlike smaller ships.
P.S. don't care DSSA. I avoid areas where carriers are presented.
