Jumpgate: TRI pilots - check in here!

Greetings Commanders,

I know there's a few of us lost souls drifting in the vast expanse since the demise of JG - so who here is from those hallowed shores?

Drop in and say hi, or I'll set Emma on you!

Hi slopey!

You probably don't remember me, I was "sinver" in the eu server, and "Tiger" in us, which I kept using when they merged the servers after mighty games disbanded.

I owned the pos in the stith, right near the gate to amaranth, I heard it was a handy stop for many a pilot :)

Oh, and yes, I remember Emma, splatted many a ship on her lol. But remember, if anything goes wrong in elite dangerous, we blame Odiche right?

Hi slopey, nice to see you. You probably don't member me, I was sinver in the EU server, and Tiger in the US (which I stuck with when the server merged).

I remember Emma fondly, lost many a ship on that cruel joke lol.

Don't forget, if anything goes wrong with elite dangerous, blame Odiche!

Hey Sinver - yep, I remember you :)

Kerrash (if it's the same one) is around, and Valeris popped in a while back! There's probably a few more lurking - I've not given Fellblade/Wyxie and the OV crew a nudge yet!

Hi all,

Zebarmy from JG EU too, flew as MG-Gabriel as well from time to time :)

Long time ago now... :)

Quant Hammer 'phoon/Hammer Gust pilot most of the times... when I wasn't exploring or flying my Thunder backwards fully loaded with mats into the station (normally ruining a perfectly good Quant TRI mission inadvertently...)

Flew a (cloakable) Barrack Tornado as MG-Gabriel (badly...)

I believe I coined the term Emma (welcome disputes to the contrary! :D), Emma as in Emma Roid, aka Hemmaroid, aka Pain in the Ass...

Won a few of the player organised races, and marshalled a lot more :)

Miss that game :)

Zeb

Doubt anyone remembers me as Jaxom, I was flying in beta but I can't remember how long I stuck around after that. Not that I didn't like the game, just couldn't play anymore for outside reasons. I'd probably go back now and ruin the nostalgia, but I remember some great dogfights in that game. My poor Wingman joystick...

JG

hi Slopey, thought it was you from JG, you made us a market tool for that as well. We used to play as a squad, ie meanie, pokey and me (pronto).Good to see you still in the game

Hi. I'm ex JG and was on there as 'kration' too. Quantar miner loved flying the Hurricane.

I was part of a wider unit called UKM (United Kingdom Mercenaries) and we were pretty active for a while.

Looking at ED in Beta it's remarkable how advanced JG was. Though I'm hoping ED will continue to develop and astound us.

I used to play JG back in the day. Me and another guy started the first English speaking guild on the euro server back in the beta, before that it was all German. I was a Quantar named -viper-. We had quite the adventure :D

Played Jumpgate beta in OEC a long long time ago, but mostly played as 'Jam' or 'Conserve' in OV on the European server.

You won't see me in game 'til general release, but I believe Monkeh, Jimac, Lupus and Morat have beta access.

Ah, here you are.
I was wondering where the Jumpgate veterans were hiding. You wont know me of course as i had a somewhat short career in a low profile Squad called Space Academy in EU. You may know other members of that squad, namely Emma and Gent30. I flew as Koinski, a Quantar and i do Miss my Typhoon.

On the other hand, Jumpgate reminded me of Elite in the first place. It's a full circle.

Ah, there you are....

I flew in JG on the EU server as Aelgas, also part of UKM. Other claims to JG 'fame' - I created Quanui, the Quantar language and dreamed up a couple of major RP events with Esquire, including 'The Ghosts' if anyone remembers that!

Istvan here. Proud to stand and be counted as just another pilot in the new sky of Elite (but I'm still an old fart - played the original in high school and then played hell out of Elite II in the 90's). Elite is where most of my inspiration for working on Jumpgate came from in the first place. Thrilled to see a good EU contingent, and hoping many more of our brothers and sisters will find us here in Elite.

Fly safe!

This looks like a game I would like to love, and it's down. I have no respect for developers who do not open source server software and change the game to work offline or on community servers before pulling the plug.
