Yeah paid $100'ish to get into this game right....
And so far been playing for 3 days and haven't finished one mission lol.
Never any good missions from the starting station.
Can't land at any of the other stations for some reason to get a different mission.
Can't even land at some stations....
Too hard to get started... gonna have to take a pass on this game.
Hoping Star Citizen's a little better.
Great launching and landing though, at least when you can land that is lol.

I couldn't fathom risking this game being a dud after so many years waiting for an awesome space simm...... I am retracting my previous post. I gave this game another chance just sus'ing it out. Other than the fact that they need to work on the communications and there are no obvious squad signs on players tags i believe it'll change and they'll make the appropriate modifications. I will be steaking my claim in some area of this universe......

Hey guys, Argyris checking in. I'm still a proud OV member although I haven't been very active lately due to the absence of decent games supporting a joystick.
After one week in ED I must admit that I'm pretty excited to be here and I'm quite optimistic that I've finally found a new virtual home.

Bity of a necro thread this...but better late than never...
I was Mole HD back then too, flew with the Red Dwarfers for a couple of years on the EU server along with my wife. Quantar rockhounds for most of our JG lives. I remember both you and Comet101 from back then too, it was Comet who recruited me into the Dwarfers just as the beta finished after rescuing me from some squids in unregistered space...very good days indeed. I dragged a few mates over from our Nomad-Jedi clan in XvT and Tribes 2 to come play with us...we all stayed for quite a while. Sid, Cybadog, Babylon6...loads of us. Nice to see names I recognise from back then

In the same vein as Mole HD a thread necro. An extremely late to the party former EU Mightygames Jumpgate player.
I do miss that game, ED is brilliant but Jumpgate had something different I bought my first PC to play it made loads of friends and had many good years. Ironically I'm currently playing ED with the same Microsoft Sidewinder I bought to play JG with back in 2001.Next stop digging my Saitek x-45 out and seeing if that still works :-D
Hope some of you are still here enjoying yourselves.
