Junk Ship Kits

This idea comes from the raider ship kits. I would like to have ship kits which adds all the improvised parts to the ship, like the hoses, cylinders, containers and maybe the canopy cages, but without the spikes. Maybe some welded plates which look like improvised hull repairs. The overall look and feel should be like a very old ship which served for many years and his owner did some manual improvements and repairs over time.

I like this better than the raider kits. The spikes sticking out all over make no sense. I like the paint jobs, but the spikes are not worth the money.

Suggested this long ago, called it a "rat" skin: beat up, weapon scarred, scratched, rusty, patched, stains from . . . whatever that is . . . running down the hull, etc. o7

Raider kit has 3 varants for each part and I think each has a completely or almost completely spike-free version. I too bought the kit for the 'scrap-heap challenge' look and use the least spiky version my exploAspX.
