Beautiful, in my little telescope it just looks like a big dot with the 4 little dots of the Galilean moons in a disc across it. It still gives me a thrill every time I look at it though

Wish I could see it like this with my eyes!
Never underestimate what a little scope can do, I squeezed this out my 4" some days ago when Jupiter was at opposition, with nothing more than the scope (Skywatcher Mak/Cass 102/1300), a lousy manual EQ2 and a Canon 60D (out of money to buy an additional dedicated astrocamera

). Oh, and a truckload of patience too:
All that rotation took just an hour and a half to happen, 57 captures stitched to make the animation. The great thing about Jupiter is that even if you can't discern much detail on the planet itself, the ballet of its moons will be very apparent even during a single evening of observation.
Take that Junocam
Edit - forgot a bit of relevat information: that was Ganymede passing in front of Jupiter.
