Jupiter Division, no missions available (HIP 54530 Permit hunt)

So I missed the CG that handed out a permit for HIP 54530 and been trying to gain the favor of Jupiter Division (currently controlling faction of HIP 54530). The Rep grind was a bit of a pain but I am allied with JD now. Is it normal for a faction to not hand out missions after they just expanded into a new system or has the missions been disabled from JD on FDev's decision? Was looking forward to pick up a permit mission from here but none are available. It would definitely suck that I even bothered to try and get the permit if it's been deliberately locked out..

Check your right-hand panel and go to where your permits are listed and check you don't already have it.

Frontier issued the permit to everyone for the CG and haven't taken it off of people who shouldn't have it ... me being one of them

Errm, didn't everyone end up with the permit? You a new start?
Everyone got the permit for the CG. The permit was supposed to be rewarded to those who finished in the top 75% for the winning side. This would logically mean, anyone not in the top 75% for the winning side should then lose the permit.

I am one who should not have the permit, yet I still have it (I've literally just logged in and checked).

The Pilots Federation has agreed to supply all ships participating in this conflict with temporary permits to access HIP 54530. These will expire early on Thursday the 18th of February.
The top 75% of contributors will be allocated a permanent system permit for HIP 54530 by Friday the 19th of February 3307.

Edit: All my CMDRs still have the 'temporary' permit
Not a new starter, an OG Kickstarter backer :D

Yeah I did not play during the CG at all and did not take part in it, so I do not have the permit, temporary or otherwise.

I have it and I didn't even get involved either. You can borrow mine OP, for a fee of lave brandy.
Dang that sounds like a good deal! Lemme get my Python and pick some up :D But being a HC Permit collector I'd need to have a one that I get to keep forever.

I'll put a ticket in tomorrow. I'll need to get evidence and write it properly.
Hopefully Frontier will then fix this stupidity.
Thank you sir! Could have maybe done it myself too but please go ahead if you can verify it too. Jupiter Division has now expanded to Ts'ao Tach so we should be able to find their missions there but no go. Empty board.

Get moving on that brandy sir!

On a serious note, and not an excuse type post, do you know what day they expanded? I've noticed (rarely) that mission boards sometimes take a while to spawn after an expansion. I'd have thought this would be automatically done though like other minor factions, but thought I'd mention it however.

It's been weeks since the CG, and the systems they were in still don't have missions.

That system's been broken since the CG.

Despite "losing", Jupiter Division are going into expansion because the only thing that can affect the BGS in the entire system is bounty hunting, which benefits them.

It benefits them because the devs didn't even bother exchanging system ownership after the CG was over. It's like the goal was completed and they forgot the system even existed because they had the next CG to work on.

Which is kinda like setting the washing machine running and forgetting to hang the laundry up when it finished because you got distracted doing the dishes, then the next day it was sunny and you thought to mow the lawn, and by the time you remembered that you had wet laundry in the machine it's gone all smelly.

Does this not still apply?
(Taken from CG thread).

'Early on Thursday the 18th of February 3307, the Iron Wings of Justice megaship controlled by the Silver Legal Group will move to the Ts'ao Tach system. If victorious, it will be authorised to issue permanent system permits to those who meet their requirements.'

The problem is this is also from the CG text ...

Note "temporary" and "These will expire" and "top 75%"

Will do CMDR o7

The expansion finished today. I've been keeping a keen eye on the system ever since I did the painful belt bountyhunting thing to get to allied.

very much this. having managed "a couple" of expansions, i can tell you it normally at least takes 5-6 hours, until missions are generated for a faction after expansion. sometimes less, sometimes more. i suggest you check around 00:30 game time again, that would be 8 hours after expansion at todas BGS-tick.

that said - depending on other factions states in system, there are other conditions why no missions for a faction might be showing as well.
