Your Feature Request / Idea
I loved the surprise Cretaceous pack, and it really got me interested in what other dinosaurs weÂ’ll get in future. I think a Jurassic pack would be especially fitting for some reason...
Since we got a large carnivore, Giant Sauropod, and a Medium Herbivore in that pack, I think some other categories would be nice inclusions.
My personal 3 picks would be:
Dryosaurus
A JPOG classic, it would be our first small Jurassic herbivore, and it would give some nice companionship to our other Morrison/Lourinha dinosaurs. IÂ’d think they be fairly defenseless, though theyÂ’d still be up for new animations and behaviors since they could grip food with their five fingers.
Cryolophosaurus
Not seen in any JP/JW material since Warpath, itÂ’d give us the largest carnivore in the world by the early Jurassic at 7 meters and about 1 ton. In-game itÂ’d translate to an intermediary between the small and medium dinosaurs, an important gap to fill. The Antarctic Hanson digsite would be very cool(literally), and the dinosaur itself would definitely stand out with its comb-like crest and Dilophosaur-like skull.
Shunosaurus
Shunosaurus would be unlike any of our other sauropods for two reasons. First, itÂ’s quite small and well within the predation range of our apex predators at 11 meters. Second, it had its tail club and would certainly not go down easily. This sauropod with combat abilities would be major brownie points for you guys at Frontier, and plus itÂ’d stand out so well as our littlest long neck.
ThereÂ’s really too many important Jurassic dinosaurs to make a case for in a 3-pack, but I hope this period will indeed get a pack in the future no matter the picks. (Although Cryo would make me just a little bit more eager to buy it lol)
Hope to see more small DLC theme packs continue!
What would be your guys 3 picks if we get the Jurassic pack? For my preferences I didnÂ’t go for the usual large carnivores, because I feel like they could start feeling very repetitive if we have too many. Definitely lots of Chinese Jurassic dinosaurs like Monolophosaurus, Omeisaurus, and Tuojiangosaurus.
