Jurassic Park Buildings

Hey Guys,

I'ven seen an old thread, but it was locked.

So, because it is something that is important for me, I wanted to put again in this Forum.

Im really a fan of the old Jurassic Park, and therefore I would love to see the old buildings as well.
Especially the "original" Jurassic Park Main-Gate and the iconic Visitors Center from John Hammond.
Having an waterfall like described in the Novel would be great. Or even the classic Ford Explorer tour (electric power delivered through a track in the ground, and passing by the different dinosaur paddocks of the park.)

If not in the main game then maybe as DLC later on, called Classic Jurassic Park DLC. I think that I recall all Buildings from Movie 1-4/5 should in the game though.


TL;DR:
Would also love to see and have and maybe build only a classic Jurassic Park with the iconic Visitors Center from John Hammond!

So hopefully Wrangler Jeeps and Ford Explorers in Classic design!

Second this, but I realy want Visitor buildings in the style of the Old Jurassic Park to give som variation in parks.

The classic style had a more "Relaxing resort" feel to it. And feels more at home in the kinda park i realy want to create. A Park with dinosaurs that give the feeling of beeing in a diffrent world. The Old style gave a cool "modern dino age buildings" (Makes no real sense, but thats the feeling I got when i saw those buildings in a jungle).

And since we got a couple of Islands to build on, i would love to have diffrent styles on diffrent Islands. One thats basicly Jurassic World (a highely comercial and modern theme park) with petting zoo and all that stuff, and an island for the "rich" or "sciency" people, with some classy buildings, the Zoo part divided into "eras", Triassic park, Jurassic Park and Cretasous Park on diffrent areas of the park, and the Visitor facilities in the middle. And the Park Management buildings hidden where visitors wont see.

But from what ive seen, its kinda like "Industrial Park" with some shops and Dinosaur enclosures besides som roads... I belive in Frotnier and that we will see some more juicy and variation closer to launch, but right now, I am waiting for more stuff before i buy.

i think there'll be a large sore point for a lot of people if all buildings from the first 3 movies aren't included in the game (I'd prefer not as DLC considering all the building assets are prefabs so shouldn't require that much work to get those in for release compared to say new dino species)

I'm also very hopeful that we'll have some kind of safari tour - I'm actually hoping to be able to have both the track jeeps from JP1 as well as the free range safari truck from JW. I trust in frontier to deliver one or both of these (hopefully both) at some point, whether it's on launch or as DLC, but I also think it's fairly essential to the visitor experience/entertainment branch to have them. So far there's only two entertainment branches for viewing dinosaurs that we've seen - viewing platform and gyroscope. Personally I'd love a viewing dome too but also some way to have a walk through/drive through/boat through exhibit would be immense (let us ride it and the gyrospheres too)

I second the motion as another advocate for Jurassic Park style buildings! Maybe as even as special content only available on Isla Nublar!

This was the first thing I asked when they announced the game. I mean, I don't even understand why the aren't using the "true" name (Jurassic Park) for the game. Sure, I understand because Jurassic World is how it's called now, but we shouldn't forget that everything started with Jurassic Park, which is still the best movie in the entire franchise (hands down). I like the last movie like the next guy, but it's still Jurassic Park to me.

Who knows. Right now all released footage always refers specifically to Las Cinco Muertes, the Five Deaths. Isla Nublar is not a part of this island group and the developers seemingly skillfully evade mentioning it. Maybe they're hiding something and Nublar has a special purpose (Though on the map it's somehow bigger than Isla Sorna as opposed to being about half the size)

This is something I want as well. I want to be able to have a original JP visitor center in my building. Other JP stuff would be nice. The game looks so good it would be shame if they messed up on a bunch of tiny things.

maybe you need to get to Nublar and complete it to unlock JP buildings/vehicle skins for use on other islands. I think in one of the vids the guys mentioned that you won't unlock a lot of dinos until later in the game, but you can go back to the earlier islands and add the newer unlocked dinos if you wanted to push park ratings up etc

there must be a reason Nublar has been avoided like the plague in discussions so far yet we know there are requirements in game to unlock it as a park so lets just speculate like crazy - Sorna will be the second to last island unlocked, and you will run it like a site B instead of an actual park. once you've bred enough dinos (objective based) then you unlock Nublar and have to build it up and ship the dinos in all the while the royal philharmonic orchestra play the jurassic park theme on repeat until you complete your final objective

Yes! Glad others thought about this. Last night i just randomly thought how great it would be (probably dlc if it's not being worked on already) if we were given all the Jurassic Park assets like buildings, the gate, general placement of famous places (the heliport waterfall area for example) & even the tracked car transports. We've already seen that the gyro's from World are in the game & with Frontiers Planet Coaster experience it would be fairly easy to implement the tracked ride for guests, just like with the new update on planet coaster you could choose where & how long the cars stop for to look at the dinosaurs.

Then if they wanted to take that further with Jurassic Park style objectives or some cool animations of dinosaurs attacking/rolling over the cars if they were to break out, that'd be even better. It honestly got me really excited thinking about it last night.

I just hope they have a good nublar map with both style buildings so you can recreate Jurassic park, or Jurassic world the way they were seen in the films. Would be interesting to see how Jurassic Park would have faired had the accident not happened.

I also hope we get jeep skins like the red and silver wranglers from jp1. Also hope we get a safari tour with different skins such as the the 1 from jp1, maybe some jw skins, camo, dino skin. It would be cool to have different style jeeps and skins to pick from like you could on rollercoaster tycoon 3 that frontier made.

I'd also like to see an ability to either create a custom name for your park and heck maybe a custom logo. Or atleast be able to choose between Jurassic Park and Jurassic World as names. Customization makes a game feel less bland and more unique.

I've been advocating for this almost since day 1. It would be silly for a Jurassic licensed game to not include the original buildings/vehicles/etc. but they've been silent on this so far. Hoping we hear something soon.
