Updates don't get trailers. I'd expect an announcement of such an update sometime in the Spring, since it seems clear that Frontier isn't splitting things up between the Prologue and the actual film.
If it’s a DLC, then it would most likely have a trailer, maybe some time around June when the movie releases, like maybe on the day both film and PDLC will release (if that will be the case). If it’s an update, then probably not, as JWE1 didn’t have any videos for major updates, and assuming it is the same here.
I’m sure the teams for Dominion content know of at least something about it in some respective way and are working on something for JWE2 already relating to it, like what the film’s plot is, what the dinosaurs look like, etc., because Universal and Frontier collaborate together to make things as they shall for the game. Plus, it literally takes several months to get things together before launch like with all the scheduling, developing time, and marketing.
As for seeing the whole film itself, I don’t think so because it still has to go through an editing process before release.
I believe that Frontier received ZBrush models from Amblin Entertainment to make dinosaurs in JWE1. I imagine the same would hold true for JWE2.
The film is already finished. They "wrapped post-production" in early november last year, about the jwe2 release date.
Did frontier received indominus rex zbrush from the movie and reduce poly and detail bc she so much movie accurate not like the first game. i hope for dinosaurs that i suggested for a skin/remodel( that i can't repeat otherwise the tread will be close as spam so i dont say her name). (if they will make it) i hope they use the zbrush movie model/render and reduce poly so it movie accurate
