SPOILERS FOR JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION.
Part 1
Today, I was finally able to see Jurassic World: Dominion in theaters, and there is a lot to talk about. So, as a result, I will make multiple posts instead of one, just so it isn't one single humongous, long post.Part 1
1.
In the four years since the events of Fallen Kingdom, dinosaurs now roam free around the world, in part of Maisie Lockwood who set them free, as well as illegal black marketing from several places including the Lockwood Manor, and illegal cloning. Claire and Owen, associates with the DFW, task themselves with protecting the dinosaurs from illegal parties. Biosyn Genetics, the rival of InGen since the original Jurassic Park, was posed as a pharmaceutical organization to find new cures for diseases from the dinosaur genes. But its CEO, Lewis Dodgson, has a darker secret in play...
2.
The giant sized locusts are Biosyn created from strains of extinct Cretaceous locust DNA, secretly designed to eat all rival crops so that theirs are competitive. In addition, as the heros put it along the way, Biosyn was all but corporate corruption.
But luckily, the heroes were to stop them from doing so. A whistleblower from Biosyn, Ramsay Cole, and the trio of heroes of both the JP trilogy (Dr. Grant, Dr. Satler, and Dr. Malcom) and the JW triogy (Claire, Owen, and Maisie). Just as Trevorrow and the actors put it, their stories intertwine with one another, starting off as their own branches before coming together. Trevorrow said he wanted this to be a conclusion for fans of both trilogies with both main trilogy hero casts coming together.

3.
Cole was an employee for Biosyn who discovered their dark secrets and planned to stop their conspiracy, starting with Dr. Ian Malcom who was also hired by Biosyn. Malcom would then contact Elle Sattler to come help him.
Dr. Sattler is a mother of two children as seen in Jurassic Park III, but she and her husband are now divorced. And because of this, she willfully returned to what she loves best: Paleobotany. And it was her of the show's hero cast who begun monitoring the Biosyn locusts and their potential effects on the Earth's ecology and crops. She then invites Dr. Alan Grant to join her to Biosyn as he is who she trusts most, and at the end, they finally come together as a couple.
Claire Dearing and Owen Grady, associates with the DFW to ensure the safety of the dinosaurs from greedy bad guys, are adoptive parents to Maisie Lockwood, a girl whom they try to protect from the outside world so the bad parties don't capture her.
Maisie is captured however, alongside Beta (the offspring of Blue), by Biosyn contracts to be both taken to their sanctuary facility. Owen and Claire track her to Malta as their first stop where they find Owen's friend and former co-worker of Jurassic World, Barry, and pilot Kayla Watts. After causing havoc of a local black market, Owen, Claire, and Kayla travel to Italy, the location of Biosyn's sanctuary valley to rescue Maisie.
As it turns out, Dr. Henry Wu was the one responsible for wanting Maisie and Beta at Biosyn in the first place. All this is for him to observe how both Beta's and Maisie's DNA can help stop the genetically modified locusts for good.
Beta was bread through a form of parthenogenesis, because Blue has monitor lizard DNA in her, and it's confirmed years ago that monitor lizard DNA is what gives both raptors the trademark patterns that distinguish themselves from other Velociraptors.
Maisie Lockwood is revealed to not be a clone made by Benjamin to replace his deceased daughter. That was just a fabrication to protect her secrets that even she doesn't know about until now. She is really the daughter of Benjamin's daughter, Charlette, who worked and lived on Isla Sorna during its heyday, created by using her own DNA to make Maisie inside her, but subsequently at the cost of her life from a genetic disease. She manipulated Maisie's DNA so she can live a full life, and it is hers and Beta's DNA Wu wants to see if they hold the key to figuring out how to stop the locusts, the terrible mistake he has made.
Dr. Wu is not an evil villain, he is just someone who is over himself and whom the real villains exploit for their own corrupt greed (just as it has always been since Jurassic World), as BD Wong explained in an interview earlier this year.
