Take your favourite dinosaurs with you on the go – Jurassic World Evolution: Complete Edition is out now on Nintendo Switch!

Our big game has made it to a small console and we are so excited to bring you all this new way of experiencing Jurassic World Evolution. Whether you're a returning player or joining us for the first time, we gladly welcome you to build and manage a series of dinosaur parks across several different islands and scenarios. You have to make sure the wants and needs of your dinosaurs are met so they don't break out of their enclosures and eat the guests, and don't forget to keep your guests happy as well so they'll flock to your park to view the wondrous sights.

Jump right into the Campaign Mode and let Dr. Ian Malcolm guide you through building your own Jurassic World with help from the Security, Entertainment and Science divisions. Then let Dr. Wu introduce you to the secrets behind dinosaur hybrids and genetic manipulation, giving you even more control over the creatures that inhabit your park. Afterwards you can help Claire Dearing save dinosaurs from an erupting Mount Sibo, or travel back in time to the 90's to rebuild Jurassic Park alongside Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ellie Sattler, and a younger Dr. Ian Malcolm. All DLCs and updates released since the PC launch in 2018 are included, making this the complete Jurassic World Evolution experience.

We'd be remiss if we didn't mention all the dinosaurs! In addition to the 37 base game dinosaurs, all post-launch updates and DLCs bring the grand total up to 68 dinosaurs. Each dinosaur also has several different skins to choose from, increasing the variety in your park. Will you be able to tame the chaos? Only one way to find out!

The Nintendo Switch console will let you take Jurassic World Evolution: Complete Edition with you on the go, letting you play wherever and whenever you want. Take it with you to the park (if it's safe to do so, of course) and when you get home just put the Nintendo Switch console into the dock to instantly play on your TV. The game will look, play, and sound great, no matter what you choose.

Bringing Jurassic World Evolution: Complete Edition to Nintendo Switch has been a huge undertaking by our developers, and we're really proud of what the team has accomplished. We want to take a moment to thank the developers for all the love, passion, and hard work they've put into this Nintendo Switch version. From the outset we've aimed for parity between the "base" consoles running Jurassic World Evolution and Nintendo Switch running Jurassic World Evolution: Complete Edition and we've succeeded with that task. This is the game you know and love, optimised and updated to fit a handheld platform so it will continue to look, sound and play great.

Last, but not least, we'd also like to thank our community for all your support, feedback and enthusiasm. You make our jobs and lives amazing and we hope you continue to keep our community a welcome and positive place.

Thank you, and enjoy the game!

Jurassic World Evolution is out now, digitally, on Nintendo Switch. You can buy the game through the Nintendo eShop or through our website.

"Malcom was right. They found a way!"

It's great to hear so far throughout this whole time the game's port, release, and community is going very good as hoped! Not that I have it myself nor do I plan so, but it certainly is a long but successful story to hear be accomplished!😁

Will this game only be available digitally or will the game cartridge be released later?

Hi Whit570!

We currently don't have anything to announce regarding a physical release of Jurassic World Evolution: Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch. It is available digitally on the Nintendo eShop.

I beat the entire game in 3 days, minus challenge mode skins, was fun on the switch. Played the DLCs first then went through the campaign. I learned that for Isla Tacano (I used SaveWizard on PS4 to get max $ so I was not restricted building my dream parks) to delete everything & start from scratch, build all the centers & use previous islands to build up fossil centers to sell in Tacano to hatch 5 star dinos to start. Also use other islands to spend on research to save $ on your current island. Made a world of a difference having ranger teams tranq & acu use as medics for Sorna. Fun playing through again but got boring quickly after beating the campaign & not a fan of the challenge modes definitely hardest setting but to each their own. Still think a Cretaceous Cruise is needed along with a Mosasaur Feeding arena, more decorations like water falls & fountains, & a bone shaker coaster attraction based off of canon JP. Island creation mode would also be amazing like in JPOG! Keep the updates coming Frontier.

I'm wondering why there is a poor lack of support for people in the community threads wanting assistance from Frontier to support their issues with the game on Nintendo Switches... This was my favourite game until it kept freezing every 30 seconds.

I have tried resetting the cache, deleting the game and reinstalling, putting it on the harddrive instead of running off micro SD and still no luck or fix.

Have you tried technical support? That would be the place to go. Just follow the link, pick your platform. and explain what is happening and they'll be able to get in touch with you.

Will PS4 and Xbox One as well PC players who got into JWE with JWE2 get a similar complete edition? The most I can find is a bundle that has two DLC.

Hi Heather, yes I've contacted technical support. I'm not the only one with the issue and it looks like the tickets keep expiring before someone even looks at them... Seems like Nintendo Switch support for the game is very poor. 😭

We don't have anything to announce about a Complete Edition for Jurassic World Evolution on PC, Xbox or PlayStation.
