Most people don´t seem to want them too and they are happy if they get small free update and paid DLC... So you (me) can only hope, but I don´t see it coming anymore. Frontier doesn´t care.
I understand what you're saying, I'm disappointed about QoL, too. In two years there could have been done more to make the basics work / work better. So it
does feel like it doesn't matter much to Frontier (even though some things
have been improved).
On the other hand they repeatedly said they're listening and they care etc. People who went to the Frontier anniversary event last year said that after talking to the devs directly they had renewed faith in the team. So what I'm wondering is will the "we listen" ever translate into something more concrete? Because the "They don't care"- "Yes they do" debate can go on forever. And that is why I don't think it's worth arguing about it.
A little bit open communication could help. Even just acknowledging the issues and talking about what should be improved / what are priorities would be something to back up the statements Frontier made and is making. I think that's not just me. But really this is a different topic and there already is a thread in the OT forum about communication.
Ok, trying to keep this on topic: As release date I suspect sometime around Halloween or the anniversary date. Either way there will be more updates (paid DLC) and patches. So far the focus has been new content and there's no indication that's gonna change anytime soon. So not geting your hopes up for something different this time might be a good idea.
