Pre-made enclosures in a park building game? That doesn't sound right, has it been mistranslated?
yeah I was a bit worried about that. But some other stuff in the article made me less worried. I think they meant premade for the gameplay demo they were doing. They only got to play the game for 40-45 minutes. That's not a lot of time to build a park and get the game really going strong. I mean you could probably start a park in that time but it would be pretty lame for a game demo cause you wouldn't have much.
But yeah I hope we can place our own fences and build everything up as we want.

We''ll have to wait and see but, to be honest, I think unlikely. Frontier's other game, Planet Coaster, is designed to be incredibly free. I realise a different game but it means Frontier have ready developed tools in their engine, for flexible designing
I'll start worrying after the gameplay reveals. For now I'm keeping an open mind
In terms of buildings I can see those being prefabs because of licensing (same reason we probably won't have free reign on hybrid dinos) but to limit any other aspect of this game (terraforming, paddock creation/layout etc) would go a long way to killing this game before it starts

I feel like they were playing some sort of tutorial/scenario since one of the characters were actively telling them what to do. So, that would explain why they said that some infrastructure was already in place.
You got me worried now. I just checked the steam charts and no ones even playing this game. The game is dead, flawed and...and... I QUIT!
I hope they mean something like premade "prefabs" and shapes out of which we can build the enclosures.

Looks like a translation error. You may be provided with pre-built enclosures when starting out on an island, but you'll easily be able to adjust (and remove) exisiting enclosures and even build your own, fully customising the shape and size of an enclosure with walls and fences.

As Will says in the above... also the preview park we started them out with had pre-built enclosures, just so you had an idea of what it looked like when you first started. I think all the other videos out there now show it off for how it actually is in game
