Just a thought (mining)

Mining is tedious and boring, if you are going to keep it the way it is...might I suggest that at least make the chunks 1 ton? You could lower the areas of where to find good stuff to balance it all out.

Just a suggestion.

The interesting part about mining isn't pointing your laser at a rock for 10 minutes, but finding the resources in the first place. Having the resources show up as coloured or shiny spots on asteroids, and having chunks come out quickly when you shoot them would probably make mining more interesting as you would actively fly around looking, feeling good about finding the jackpots, and getting a fairly quick reward for using your laser and scooping up chunks.

I think mining could be more fun that way.
