Ship – Sidewinder Explorer
I've set out to find money, to see the galaxy, and find my place in this vast empty space we all call home. I am not much for politics, and do not group myself with either side of the arguments. My skills as a pilot are lacking, and therefore training for combat was not an option, to go along with my lack of support for any faction. I am my own man, one of the trillion upon trillions of citizens in this galaxy just working to get by. I am only writing this, so that our voices are heard, maybe by only one person, but one is more recognition than I would have had without logging my time. I am not destine for greatness, this is not a story of an epic nature, it is an average tale of the hardships 99% of us face.
As the factions grow, so will the wars, and I look to profit off of this by selling information of the stars around us. I do not want trouble, and will not be seeking it out, my life is about seeing the unknown, and sharing it to exploit the ever growing expansion of mankind.
So far in my travels I have seen 117 systems, and made a decent living profit of 130,000 credits, enough to slowly improve my ships. On the side to help, I run a few cargo hauls if they are on my way, but avoid it, as the galaxy is filled with greed, and an empty cargo bay is nearly as much protection as shields these days.
My first mission was to the Gacrux system area, a test mission 100 ly away, I wanted to make sure before I went deeper into our galaxy, that I would be able to make a profit. The guys at home now call me a scout, I am not sure if this is a good thing, but I do know it holds no weight with me. I've decided to head out again, for a bigger longer mission, in hopes of eventually upgrading my ship to help ease the hardships I have had finding these planets in the vast openness of space.
This week I plan on starting my journey out into the darkness to find more, I'm not sure where I am heading, but I hope to find the profits to get by, and avoid the hardships forced upon us by the factions and greed this galaxy has created.
