Hardware & Technical Just been outbid on an i7 4930k

Should i be worried, was the price worth it considering i have to get a new motherboard ?
Will the new cph have the oppurtunity to take advantage of the so called sata non existant 3

I wouldn't worry so much, E : D doesn't require a top of the line CPU, but it's always nice.
I thought SATA Express was the new non-existent sata technology, or M.2, for new MB's :)

I am running a somewhat geriatric AMD Phenom II X6 1100T 3.3GHz and I barely get past 25% CPU utilization. I doubt you would need a beast like the Intel i7 4930K to run E:D properly.

CPU utilization 20-30% of my 2500k
Mem utilization: less than a gig of the 8 gigs installed
GPU utilization: 90% all the time of my GTX560.

Assuming they optimize the graphics at all (lol) this game will likely run on a Raspberry PI with a few unrolled loops. ;)
