Two words though: urban camo.. Now that would look good.

My aim is to own every ship and have them in matching urban camo, or black apollo.

I think I'd rather wait for some better paint to be invented than just paint it in anything out of desperation

People chat up all kinds of frames, and for a lot of pilots the Vulture really is the cat's butt; but usually the very best ride is the one you're best in. I watched some nice cannon-Asp combat footage in a thread just recently, guy did very well for himself, even in a 3-on-1.

Aye, that video got me back in an Asp, for piracy and opportunistic bounty collection. Less then 5 minutes after undocking I turned a wanted played in a vulture into that much more floating debri in space. I've gained a new respect for that fine Asp.

Agreed, he did quite well. Vulture does it for me though (well, for less rebuy cost - my Python is the real face-melter but a tad more expensive to lose)

I flew a Vulture in the beta (because I live almost like a vagrant on the actual game >___> ) and it indeed was simply beautiful, with a nicely challenging loadout experience. It's fun to fly, quite apart from its combat prowess. I wouldn't mind owning another one when I can swing the creds for a good outfitting.

I really like though that the game has enough ships even now for people to discover and excel in at various careers, without being tied exclusively to a single frame and setup. I'm looking forward to any of the new ships coming online, as I feel FD has been filling out their roster with ships that provide singular piloting experiences from each.

Anybody worked out how much you lose on selling a new ship if you sell off all the parts first. Wish I hadnt bought this.

if you sell modules and hardpoints you get 100% back but the base ship you'll only get 80% for, if you sell with modules you get 80%

That's what I'm doing.
I have some nice paint jobs for the Viper and Cobra. But would really like a good one for my new FdL.

Bought my Asp back, it ended up being about a 500k wasted experiment, then I realised the reason it might have been so bad was because I forgot to upgrade the thrusters, ah well, back in my black Apollo asp anyway. I love it.

Wireframe Limited editions on every anniversary plz. I intend to hand around for a long time. Next up should be the Asp, then Viper, then Python, then Sidey, then 'Conda. Actually scrub that. Gimme a Wireframe for the Fer-De-Lance and this game will be complete.....

The Clipper needs spinning nacelle covers.

I NEED a purple Anaconda, life is not complete without it.

The Asp skins are better as well, that black one is particularly awesome.
