Just bought a X52 Pro, does not install:(

Was using a Logitech 3D Pro, which still works in ED.
Decided to upgrade and get a X52 Pro, like game seems to use.
I have Win7 64bit Ultimate.
It does not see/detect the X52, Saitek drivers do not install:(

Have you tried a different USB port, not the one you used for your previous stick?
Saitek have some notorious usb issues.

I also had problems with x52 pro on win 7. The drivers are messed and it needed special instaling / pluging in. When I was pluging out it just freezed my system, always. All problems dissapeard with win 10 and win 10 beta drivers.

Well made some progress:)
X52 Pro works.
But why I am not sure.
Order of events:-
My main PC has a 120GB SSD, but getting too small, so bought a 240GB for $60.
However before I switched to the 240GB, I got the 120GB to work by going into admin tools and clicking on devices, one device had a error against it (X52).
I clicked on it and it choose something on my PC(the right driver ) and X52 started working.
Have to say Saitek and Madcatz are a messm seems old software and Madcatz pushes his stuff and does not really address Saitek stuff properly:(
Now I have the 240GB in, it is working. ED has a profile/bind for X52 so using it and changing stuff to use keys I am used to.
X52 seems more accurate than my Logitech 3D Pro.
