Just bought Alpha

No, really. I decided a while back (when I was drewling - watching Alpha videos) that I should definetely get a good joystick for this game.

If not for this game. For what, then? ;D

Anyways, it is ordered, and should arrive with some luck on monday. So Christmas is ruined, I guess.

As mentioned in OP, I recently bought Alpha via the shop. I only backed the kickstarter up to first beta.

But it apears that I have no Alpha forum access.

When i click the "discussion forum" button on the launcher application i get the following message:

MortVader, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.


I am guessing that maybe there is no automatic linking from the shop-system to the forum system. Maybe I will be granted access some time after Christmas / newyear.

Does someone know how it works?

Yeah, there's no automatic linking, it must be done by FD. Maybe try to write edbackers@elite.co.uk (or that fancy form https://store.zaonce.net/contacts/ or shop email I can't remember), as I understood correctly thare are *some* people left to oversee alpha process, they could sort out your access on Monday.
