Mobius was most likely right ... Alpha being extended pushes all dates into the future which means release is likely to be arround the anniversary
Can't wait for beta myself either, my teenager's looking forward to it too!
That said, the game's a massive undertaking, so as FD have said, let the various stages take as long as they take to get the thing right.
So while I hope everything is on time, I really won't be shrieking if the roadmap slips a month or two.
The very worst thing would be to release a flawed game without sufficient testing and gameplay as per FFE.
Luckily there's no need to this time.
