Just bought Horizons Beta

I usually don't participate in Beta's, but, since it was the same price of the pre-order the normal game I did. How does Beta work? It doesn't mess with the normal game, correct?

im excited to fly all the ships I have not tried out yet. My goal is the iCutter in my normal game. Hopefully, it will not disappoint me. I own the Conda, but miss the iClipper.

Feel free to ask anything I haven't explained properly :)

I looked on the Frontier Store, and the beta is listed as £10 more than the standard pre-order price, so £39.99 and £49.99 respectively. Got to say, that trailer is awesome, has my wallet finger all itchy... :p

The problem will be, that if you haven't been playing, I doubt if you'll have the cash to fly a lot of ships. However, I've never played Beta. Do they give you money?

Not from the videos I've seen covering them. The only difference is everything is 10% of its normal price so your money goes farther just for testing.

Yeah, other thing to remember is that it gives beta for the full year the same way last year gave beta access all the way through 1.1, 1.2 etc and not just 1.0 :D Sorry, i'm not helping that itch am I?

In certain systems yes. You can also sell your current ships for full price meaning if all your stored ships equal say 25mil you can test a 250mil Federal Corvette!

No, but you are helping me justify it for later. :D

Good to know. Even more reason! :D Do you still need faction ranks to be able to get the Imperial and Federal ships that require them?
