Newcomer / Intro Just Bought the Game, It is Not Downloading.

So I am Currently downloading Elite Dangerous, all was fine and then its got to about 60 percent and now its just not downloading anymore, the download speed has descended to about 0.01mb per second...

Anyone know what the problem is?

The issue is where they are hosting the file. I bought the game yesterday and it took hours to download. A lot of hours. And it wasn't my internet. I download from steam a game in minutes, no matter how many Gb it has.

But with ED it took hours even for the tutorials. And it stopped a few times cause it had no connection to the server for 10 minutes. And I know this stuff, it wasn't any firewall or antivirus software issue.

That won't matter at all.

Moxon: Just be patient and "Let It Be";) and it will finish.

There is HUGE demand for this little gem all around Terra right now.

Once you've got it DLed, the game uses a minimum connection to play.

If you're on wifi, it could be other traffic, known to you or not.
