Just bought the game, logged in and boom!

Hello!

I have just bought the game, i logged in and suddenly someone blew me up, no idea what happened, repair fee is 1,600 CR but i only got 1000, now what :S?

That must be the shortest possible time to death :D

See it as a warm welcome, and next time check the "death screen" which says what got you. There are some bugs that can kill you very quickly.

Probably the police force at a station. Did you ask for docking permission before you entered the station? You are not allowed to be inside a station whit out docking permission. And its also a 10 min timer on that clearance.

When taking of you must leave the docking pad. Loitering is not allowed. And you have 5 minutes to leave the station as well.

Just a few examples what might killed you :) Just take your time and learn the game. Don't worry if you get killed at the start. You get a new sidewinder ship for free and 1000cr.

Welcome to the game and Forums :)

Welcome Commander

This game is really not that easy to pick up striaght out of the box; to me that's a plus, the game is better for it .

So while I know you want to dive right in, trust me it would really pay you to spend a couple of days getting used to the controls etc in the solo combat missions.

It might not seem like it but it will allow you to progress faster in the end.

What ever you decide, have fun ;)

YouTube is you friend! I learnt the do's and don'ts in the run up to SB and the videos on YouTube are great, does sound more like the cops killed you for breaking the rules. Either that or you were very unlucky

No this game has a problem with rampant ganking. I played two hour last night and I'll probably not play again. Two Gankers in Cobras waiting outside the newbie city.

Flying back they "interdict" me. This game is going to be just as bad as EVE online, anytime you allow open world PVP it gets abused and used to grief. This game needs to be marketed as a single player game or not a PU.

PVP and ganking render it useless as any kind of PU. People log in struggling to figure out the controls how to fly, get used to that god awful supercruise, and they are getting ganked to boot.

Its enraging and a pitful oversight considering we have years of gaming experience to draw from that shows how open world PVP is EVERYTIME it is implemented.

...newbie city. ...

Flying back they "interdict" me.

There is no "newbie" zone.

Players can not interdict yet, you sure it wasn't AI?

If they were hounding you around an area - try a different station.

I have had to issues yet.

If you seriously don't like PvP, you can always select Solo play. You play in the same universe, only there are no other humans to "grief" you.
