Just curious about 'home' systems...

My home is Miller Depot, Barnard's Star. There isn't much there, but Sol, Sirius, EZ Aquarii, and Bhritzameno are all just a hop or two away if I need access to a good shipyard.

For a couple of years now, I've lived in a modest system out at the very edge of the bubble. The reasons I was drawn to this system were mining opportunities, the system is Independent (no superpower control or exploitation), and the landing spots are father from the star than many other CMDRs would regularly want to travel.

I do have my Beluga and Type-9 stationed at more high population areas more centrally within the bubble, and traverse between these locations in my Cobra Mk3.

I've set up shop at several different systems in my Elite Dangerous career. My original goal was to rank up to get the Sol permit because I wanted to see Earth. So, the various planets are sort of in a rough line spiralling from LHS 3447 to Sol. I picked high-tech systems with a High RES handy, or at least one jump away. Currently, I'm based in LHS 336 for no other reason apart from I decided to move from Zeta Triangulum Australis as the facilities there weren't that great, and it was a bit closer to Sol. I haven't moved since. My kids who also play have chosen to base themselves there too.

The station has a pretty good range of stuff, modules, the RES is just over 30 Ls away and I'm fairly close to most engineers. As far as I can tell, hardly anyone ever visits. I might have seen another CMDR at Klimuk Station once.

My parents came from Mars in Sol but moved to Azeban in Eranin for what they perceived to be a better life.

Whence my career started, in 3300.

I still have a connection to Azeban and the Eranin System, and frequently head back there. My spare engineered modules are currently stored at EZ Aquarii, however.

I spend a lot of time operating out of Sol, get back to Eranin whenever I can (although I've long since given up on the idea of flipping it back to Federation control - but I'm on good terms with the Alliance there also), but also travel far and wide, and wherever I deem that the Federation might need me.

But being a one-ship owner/privateer, I'd say my true home "system", is the hull of my fast, well-armed trusty Faulcon Delacy Python.

One commander.
One ship.
One adventure.

:)

I moved to Jameson Memorial about a year or so ago. You cant beat this place, it has everything you need to build any and all ships. At some point I might move somewhere more picturesque, like a meteor base or something.
Before I was in V491 Persei. Comfy little place with good rings for hunting ships and near the core systems of Li-Yong Rui.
