PvP Just doing the Lord's work

Note the Pilot's Federation bounty.

Hours and hours of cleaning out would-be griefers and credit exploiters. I've lost track of how many dozens of players I've killed. I'd say it's been a good couple of days for the cause of justice. :)

Are you part of the 'Adeles Armarda' clan? as i note a lot of your bounties are in the Newb System Area?

The word you're looking for is "justified." I'm affiliated with Archon Delaine. I'm the merciless bad guy who swore an oath to pillage and burn. And I'm well within my rights to continue to punish the weak. :)

Even Archon Delaine kills with political goals in mind. He's also a pirate. If you are doing powerplay, I have no problem with you. If you are doing piracy, I have no problem with you. Hat's off, in fact. If not, well, then you are just griefing. You can wrap it up in roleplay if you want, but sending other players to the rebuy screen for no reason other than 'you can' is still griefing. NPC's are harder to kill than some of these players. What satisfaction do you get from this type of gameplay other than knowing you caused some real person out there grief?

I don't feel sorry for them. I don't even really sympathize. I feel sorry for you.

Because every now and then, goes really south, really quick. Then it's up to you to save yourself while the whole galaxy is trying to kill you. You can't buy that kind of fun in solo mode.

A quick ship scan should tell you all you need to know.

I saw a program on tele over Xmas which suggested that seals were becoming Carnivorous.

You seal clubbers should beware, as you are next; once they have run out of penguins.

Not to nitpick, but haven't seals always been carnivorous?

A) But it's called Elite: Dangerous
B) It's a cutthroat galaxy
C) It says we can just hunt other commanders
D) I am roleplaying as a terrorist

Oh, sorry. Were we not swapping memes?

I was just queuing up options for the convenience of respondents :)

1) But the grind
2) Mah immurshun
3) Blaze mah own trail
4) Solo

The immurshun part is actually sort of valid. If you build to withstand player attacks, you remove all possible excitement from NPC encounters.
Even in open I can go a month or more, without running in to a hostile commander. When I do meet one, they usually just back of when they see my build(usually faster than them, with some defense).

I can tak my ships to CZ or Res and get a challenge, but all interdictions are zero risk.

This is just an example of the balance issues we have. It would actually be more exiting for me to play solo and downgrade my ship.

I'm absolutely not a good combat pilot, so this affects all types of players.

I think one persons immersion, is a wrecking ball to another persons immersion.

Such is the disparity between play styles.
