Just for laughs. A Hauler Warship

Rapid fire phasing pulse you say? I’m sure I’ve got a couple of lasers on my Adder due an upgrade 😏

@Threeofseven that was awesome! Especially your parting comms 😂 🤣

It was rather hilarious... and a bit sad.
Truly awesome was his encounter with HP. His pulse phasing Conda vs HP's frag* Mamba. Which led HP to leave the combat screaming Cheats! like a spoiled purple haired clown 😂 😂
It was also what i regard as the thing that lead to the start of the SDC unfortunate anti-cheat campaign 😒

* iirc HP was bragging about some Legacy frags that were better than the normal ones... not like the normal ones are bad...

Rapid Fire pulses shred. I used to use them on my Vulture (one emissive, one scramble) until I switched them out for efficient PAs. I tried all different kinds of pulse laser engineering. Efficient, Rapid Fire, Focused, etc. I've found Rapid Fire to be more effective than all of them. By far, actually.

THAT was actually entertaining. His shields don't go down but his hull dies slowly. And he's telling YOU to surrender. :giggle:
Never underestimate your opponent.

Now, we need that music behind your video and we're all set for popcorn.

I'm interested in the role of the Jackdaws(?) I'm sure they're not on the side of the black cat but they probably also recognise the white cat as an intruder...

Our cat has outsmarted the local magpies which try to mob it. It lies down and plays "dead" until they get in range of all 4 sets of claws, then BAM! Now there's an uneasy truce.

I'm using twin fixed rapid fire Pulses on my Vulture, both with phasing sequence. They're mean.

Good job he surrendered otherwise that would have been feature length film of over 2hrs until his death.

i mean he could have just parked there and jumped out to SC quicker, "oh please stay so I can tickle you some more with my class one feather duster"

meanwhile anacondas be like;

nice hauler survival build even if it has the firepower of a little gem lettuce though.

I'm revealing my complete lack of knowledge about combat builds here, but how he inflicted damage to the hull through shields?

Phasing sequence, works great on crytos.

"Phasing Sequence is an Experimental Effect that can be applied to weapons through Engineering. It is a bleed through modulating burst fire system designed to defeat shielding. Around 9% of damage is able to "bleed" through shields and attack the target's hull directly doing absolute damage, at the cost of 10% damage reduction. The damage that phases through shields seems to be calculated off the damage shown in weapon's statistic before taking into account target's resistances and damage falloff from excessive range."

considering the damage of a small pulse laser is pretty much the square root of 1, 9% of that isn't a great deal, but its great on larger hardpoints with more base damage.

Phasing Sequence is an experimental mod can be applied to pulse and burst lasers (and plasma) and it will make 10% of the damage slip through the shields and directly damage the hull (as absolute damage)
But its normal damage against hulls will be diminished by 10% (when the target has no shields) so it's a tradeoff that works against ships with big shields but crap hull

damn ninjas
