Just got my rift last night, can't wait to play it again.

So I purchased a rift specifically for Elite, and honestly I only played for a few moments but I tried an Eagle and my Anaconda. The Anaconda was like a giant tanker of a ship. Wow you get such a feeling for being in a vast ship. Then the eagle.... claustrophobia set in I zoomed out of my station turned around and looked back... and was in awe of the size.

The sense of scale looking down at Earth from the heavens was jaw dropping.

My one issue is I have a massive head and the head set sit snugly, my glasses pushed Hard into my nose. so today I ordered lenses with my prescription to insert into the device.

I don't usually advertise other products, but I'm going to be buying VR Cover replacement faceplates, as they are supposedly a lot more comfortable to wear for those of us with unusual craniums They do a long version specially for glasses-wearers. Google it. I'm buying one and I'll report back once I actually receive it.

Make sure you have loosened the straps etc as far they can go.
And getting the right fit is paramount.

Also, use the IPD adjustment screen to get the right height, and angle.
I found I needed to tilt my set forwards a little to ease pressure from the forehead.
