So I've been trying to manage things as I start playing this game. Population got a lil wild on the lemurs and ostrich enclosures, so i got them all on contraceptives atm, but keepers are running over time and everything is basically popping up dying of dehydration or breeding diseases. I dont have control of the overall layout at the Goodwin house, and im definately figuring out what i'd do differently next time. However for the time being I need another keeper or two to help out, and while googling I can find no information anywhere because the game is still new on why all of my hire staff is greyed out and can't be done. but uhhh... anyone know how i am actually able to hire staff?

total profit im sitting on is 85k, the "?" Help says that you can technically hire staff even "if the zoo has negative funds."
Also im gonna posit a guess that none of my staff is actually doing anything, most of them are low energy at this point since i cant hire anyone to give them breaks, so ive lost abit of money, im just sitting here watching as all my animals die of starvation and dehydration with the "call keeper" button on, got a lot of bones sitting around since i assume a vet is supposed to pick them up but the "call vet" light is on and no vet. And several habitats have fallen to disease. lol. i assume when i started trying to hire staff i had even more money at that point.

yeah its goodwin house. i just started looking at work zones, but since thats not ever filled in on the tutorial. your guess is as good as mine. they seem assigned places. either way there are certainly not enough keepers to go around especially with how little the game actually teaches you in the tutorials lol.
I also might b e done with the goodwin house? but it hasnt prompted me to do anything else and i dont seem to have any quests, but idk if that means there is some way to progress? ¯\(ツ)/¯
aha thank you, i wasnt aware that there wasnt a like "you done! continue on here" i assume ill have to poke around the main menu to find the next one.If you got the gold medal then you can close the scenario and go on with the next one. The scenarios have no end, you can continue playing after reaching all the goals
