Imagine ... you could bookmark locations on planets.

Imagine ... you could sort equipment you have stored.

Imagine ... you could perfectly allign with your target destination in supercruise so you don't overshoot.

Imagine ... you could play local MP3 files inside your ship.

Imagine ... you could access engineer blueprints from any location.

Imagine ... you could see how many materials you have in your hold by targetting said material.

Imagine ... NPCs would follow the rules.
