What was it they told you to do? I know some people prefer to hire Expert pilots as and when you need them, and fire them before they cash in? Which is something I tried for a while, but I found the lower ranked NPC's to be next to useless, they only really become worth using at around dangerous IMHO.

They are quite usefull for short periods when your at an early stage , they can distract dangerous Condas and Pythons while you sneak up on their 6 and butcher them

Not only over paid but looks like a corpse. Still, he is useful in a fight...from time to time.

I fired mine long ago. I always thought people's complaints about FC operational cost were disingenuous given that many were paying their pilot even more annually.
