I'm in my Adder just starting out on a long (for me) trip to get some exploration cash, had to stop of in Anotand which appears to be near the edge of populated space. I checked the traffic report and I was it for the past 24 hours. Space is BIG!

I'm actually far too careless for exploration! If im not down to under 50% of my hull my ship within 100 LY due to rubbish fuel scooping I'll be doing well.
