Today's experience:-
Using the Courier, I'd embarked on a long journey, and planned a refuelling stop.
What I dodn't plan was :-
a) USS with a couple of wanted ships - one dropped a couple of tons of Matrona experience jelly (!)
b) the fact that the only port was 31000 ls from the drop in point.
Just made it to the space station with "main tank drained" - just a smidgen going to the systems tank.
Arrived over the pad then (-3.8m horizontally) "thrusters off line".. totally out of fuel, less than 4 metres from the pad.
I just wanted to get out and PUSH
The only module on line was the power module (don't know why!), so before I hit autodestruct (or waited for the station to turn the ship into a crisp) I turned off the flight assist. Magically, the ship slid onto the docking pad & landed.
Thank you whoever!
