Just randomly exploded 4km outside of Nicollier Hanger

If I remember right someone posted a youtube video of it happening to a T9 or some other large ship a while ago on these forums.

I had a ship spawn into my own ship, all of a sudden an explosion and i see parts flying in all directions.

My shield was down to its last ring. Pretty sure it was not some1 ramming me. Had i been flying something smaller, then i would have been the dead one.

Had a similar problem with my suicidal type 7. It must have been the umpteenth time going through a standard docking on my boring old trade route, when my ship suddenly decided to blow up as i was descending towards the pad. Shields and hull were full, so I'm still completely puzzled as to what caused it. That's the only time such a thing has happened to me in the dozens of hours I have clocked.

I 've been do the same trading route in my type 7 for several days. Then yesterday on the way back to the station, on exiting supercruise, there was a loud bang. The hull was instantly damage and went to 43%. Strangely, the shield was at full strength with no damage at all. I then immediately throttled down to 0%, confused at what just happened. Then, about 5 seconds later, another loud bang and my ship blew up. Still don't know what had happened.

I almost got a T7 as a hood ornament last night. I was in the middle of the port waiting for it to slowly pass through the mail slot when it instantly accelerated to a ridiculous speed without firing boosters, barely missing me. When I turned around it was already on a pad behind me. I'm guessing latency or dropped packets doing weird things.

How many pips to shields did you have at the time? I've had one occasion where I was coming in to land on the pad and then suddenly boom...ship is shieldless and spinning with half hull gone, but I survived thanks to four pips to shields. Still no idea what happened to cause it.

Wow, there are so many people "randomly blowing up" O.O

I played only very briefly, today, but I have to admit there could be something little off. When I was undocking for the first time, there was T9 and another Clipper above me, not moving, staring at me....

Happens to my Lakon-6. Ticket it as Can Not Play as they will get to you faster. They reimburse my insurance but not cargo. It's happening on ships as small as a Lakon-6 (anyone experienced it on Cobra or below?) and as big as Anaconda. Anaconda guy actually got it recorded and he just blew... My wallet screams just watching the video...
