Just returned home from my first exploration... some standard newbie questions/reflections

Just returned from a ~25kly trip and probably making a few of the same observations many others have been familiar with for a long while now...
.
1. The total lack of overview of what you have achieved
.
2. The massive time sink in actually selling (or more precisely registering) data
.
3. The lack of possibility to browse/look back at what you have done.
.
So much room for improvement on this rather simple problem.

Does anyone if the devs have commented on improving the selling mechanism? I'll be returning from an exploration trip in a few months, have heard of people using automated macros to sell data and it still take days :/

@Op -

point 1 - I guess your explorer rank, and LVL-2, LVL-3 detail scan readout is considered the overview

point 3 - I always screenshot interesting finds, that way I have a record and can quickly go back to it in the map.

I agree, OP. They need to add much better UI to the database backend for explorers. Both for browsing stuff you found later, and for turning in your findings.

Glad you made it back safely. o7

I am guessing they have it all at FD and in future we will get in-game tools to look them up, but more likely an API so others can write code for us to look it up. Either way I think we will eventually get what we want.
