Just rolled into Beagle Point in my Imperial Eagle

View is nice from here.

The paint is a bit rough after the trip.

This is my dedicated exploration account. I made it with no neutron boosts as I dont have room for an AFMU. However, I managed to make it with 100% hull and module health. I plan to stay in the area until the new planet features arrive Q1 of next year, at which point I will follow the Outer Arm through the Gamma Quadrant until I reach of the Formidine Rift and return from there. This is assuming I do not do something stupid and lose my SRV--or worse.

Oh, and look, it won't even use the whole tank to jump back to Sol! Awesome.

Seriously though, big kudos. I love iEagle, but I wouldn't be able to take her even to Colonia.
And yes, the view is quite spectacular. :)

Wow, nice job. The furthest I've taken mine is the Pleiades Nebula and even that felt pretty far. What's your jump range?

Just over 31ly with the SRV attached. Honestly, I think this ship is more enjoyable to explore and than my Asp or Conda. SC handling is awesome and it can find a landing spot near anywhere.

Pretty impressive going that far with no shields and still at 100%

I am guessing he has size 1 shields loaded and no DSS.

You can tell by looking in the first picture, as the shields are active blue, and not inactive red.

And good to see someone enjoying themselves in the small ships OP. I am working up for the 5000ly engineer run and thinking my Hauler may be my ship of choice, with pretty much a similar set up.

Oops - my bad

I think I'd go nuts if I found a new ELW and couldn't get the scan...
