Decided to go walkabout in my little Ghost Rat to play with the new stuff...find some things to look at whilst I was at it.

I also found that those geyser sites (of all types) are an absolute treasure trove of raw mats too. Certainly beats driving around looking for random boulders to shoot at :)

Liking the new exploration tools a lot...still haven't tried mining.

Yes but wish Devs hadn't put so many of them in 800 metre deep canyons and cravasses that you get stuck in !

Edit: Apologies for that, I've just opened it up and looked through the shots.

I just did a linked screenshot grab from Imgur and grabbed some of the 'wrong' ones at the end of the intended ones....unintentionally this time since I didn't really proof read through the post after hitting it up. If anyone seriously complains, I'll edit them out since they're hardly relevant.

This update definitely has me giving a damn about Volcanism for first time. (being able to find it helps)

Spent a lot of time checking the sites out and gathering mats. I do it all in my Courier, so I don't have to worry too much about getting into the aforementioned canyons that a lot of these seem to be situated in.
