I'm sure the cycle of flaming and complaining on the forums can get a bit disheartening for the devs: squeaky wheels and all that.

So I just want to personally thank Frontier for consistently listening to the community's concerns, despite the somewhat *ahem* heated nature of discussion at times.

So many things that I and many others thought needed introducing or changing have been either completely hit dead on by FD in 1.1 or 1.2 or will be addressed shortly according to today's dev update.

Many other devs leave their games to die on release, but not Frontier. They're genuinely passionate about the game and the community.

I agree. There is more work to be done, but they certainly seem to be pushing the game forward in the right direction.

I'm familiar with the trials of live development. working in MMO's we deal with fires that our customers CAN SEE and are affected by. I have been perpetually impressed by FDev's response time and productivity since release.
You guys all deserve a pint.
