Well it's been a little over a year since we at the MWSOG (Milky Way Society of Organics and Geology) have been hunting and cataloging sites and so I'd like to share with you just how many of each we have found, as always you can visit this thread ( https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...Fumarole-Location-Catalog-and-Data-Collection ) for the most up to date info on all things Organic and Geological, also, don't forget to check out the MWSOG site ( https://madraptor86.wixsite.com/mwsog ) as well and don't forget to share any awesome finds you might come across with us, we are a great bunch and I'm proud of the work and tireless hours they have put in to finding these beauties of the galaxy....without further ado the stats:
Geysers: 198
Fumaroles: 239
Organics: 210
That's a total of 647 individual sites found since September of last year, considering the amount of people who actively hunt these...which is quite small, as well as the lack of any real tools besides are eyes and luck I'd say that is a great job and I'm proud of all those who have contributed, keep up the good work
Types of Organics found:
Bark Mounds
Guardian/Brain Trees
Fungal Gourds ( no real name for these and only 1 site found so far)
We know there are more organics out there, we just haven't found them yet, so anybody who might come across a surface site that looks new and organic like, make sure to post it to the thread.
Also, here is a link to the top 10 fumarole and top 10 geyser sites as voted by the geological and organic community....as more sites are found we may hold more contest for another top 10..... https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vQXv69hqC0Wvm32fNkzzodaPeif0lcflohwQa0bFmrA/edit#gid=0
