Justice for the Torrent Duck

I see like 2000 people on this forum mega-wish for duck species, but even in wish lists of 200+ duck species made by Leaf I didn’t see them mention the only duck that really matters and which is really bizarre and special.

Enter, Torrent Duck


They aren’t only very beautiful to look at, they swim in the wildest rivers hench their awesome names!?

Don’t ya’ll know about torrent duck or do you dislike it because of realism reasons? As I think an English zoo is keeping Torrent Ducks.

What is the reason y@‘ll never mention it in wish lists?

Yes. They are beautiful and they live in the Andes, so bonus point.

Beautiful duck, and it has a sick name too! This thing sounds like some kind of D&D monster or something.

I wouldn’t mind it being added after we get the essential ducks, e.g. Mallard and Mandarin, maybe Muscovy.

I agree on mandarin ducks, but mallard ducks are not really zoo animals more like invading in the ponds, at least in Hollands zoos

I love that we got a swan for modding reasons, but I’m far more interested in black(necked) exotic swans from S-America and Australia

Or maybe frontier does a duck pond feature similar to the butterflies set of 5.
Instead of a WE, we set up a pond and can select which types of ducks we want to come to the pond naturally.
Mandarin ducks, torrent ducks and any other good looking ducks.

Yeah, Mandarin Duck, Torrent Duck, Harlequin Duck, White-Faced Whistling Duck and the Wood Duck would all be cool

Ducks in an exhibit doesn’t sit right with me. We have habitat swans so why can’t we have habitat ducks? The rig’s already there, modify the neck and size and bam you gotta duck.

I mean they are cool, but there are a bunch of duck species id like to see before. And i think we would be lucky to get even one at this point unfortunately
