JWE 2 worries and questions

I bought JWE 1 years ago for a whopping 60 Euro. The graphics and animations were nice but the game itself was lacking interesting content, did not get any upgrades and the living of the dinsours was very limited, not to mention that I felt always like I paid for promoting a movie for the cinema with all those movie things included. Is JWE 2 any different in this regard? The first one was so expensive and got so little love by the devs that I still worry that the sequel will not be better in many regards. For me JWE 1 should have been worth not more than 10 EU at launch, so I will be more careful before buying another game of that type. 👀

It is not just new species, here is the list of improvements Jurassic World: Evolution 2 have over Jurassic World: Evolution 1:

- Herbivores no longer require feeders and it is authentic for them to eat paleo-plants.

- The viewing galleries, viewing platforms, and the remote viewing galleries are available for all eras.

- The ACU Station and Ranger Station merged to become the Response Facility.

- Releasing dinosaurs from the hatchery can be done in the form of airlift.

However, the dinosaur cohabitation in Jurassic World: Evolution 2 is faulty and requires work to improve.

Honestly, I have not played Jurassic World: Evolution 1 for a while.

If u try to get trophies like me know the Jurassic difficulty is extremely hard, I been contemplating destroying the disc, hair raising frustrations, and it’s super slooooowwwww.

@D279mi I don't have any high hopes of getting the achievement for completing the Germany challenge mode in Jurassic difficulty given the game's current state.

while JWE2 does have tie-ins with the movies, and has bugs that have been present for...an unfortunately long time, especially around the AI, it's a far better game than the first one by leaps and bounds.

Probably depends on what you're after.. but as someone who was expecting a modern jpog and was let down by the first one.. i'm definitely not let down by the second one. Only found the game accidentally via gamepass (for starfield). You could go on forever listing all the positives and negatives, but what im enjoying is the overall effect doesn't make feel lacking anymore.

Also i quite like the little chaos theory maps / quicker finite games, just saying. I think i had my expectations too high for the first game because it was sold that there would be narrative... expecting zero for the sequel, the narrated chain missions aren't that bad.

Unexpectedly, because i'm safe in knowing a more fuller game exists in two, im planning on going back though one without expectations just for the carefree experience.
