JWE2 Saved Game Load Issue

Hi all. Apologies if this has already been discussed recently.
Our Xbox one most recent sandbox saves will not load and Xbox crashes.
If I was to un-install JWE2 from the Xbox and re-install, will all saved campaigns and sandbox saves be lost OR are they stored externally?
OR should I wait for patch to resolve the issue?
