Karma bit me in the ass x2

So I picked up the kill bounty mission and been thinking on the trip out how to avoid a bounty myself by killng one of these dude(tte)s. I know there is no way to provoke(tried bashing ships before. I thought of how brilliant Sarah Jane Avory's "cops" do and I'll step in front of their fire. Well... I do this and all works out as I kill bounty hunter BUT... it doesn't count in mission log So on top of this, I kill another bounty hunter remembering the mission text saying that I didn't have to worry about the "cops" in this neighborhood(wish I remembered while stepping in front of bullets) and I proceed to kill this bounty hunter and bam! 5k bounty. So, I dunno how they coded karma in this but she is a female dog! <---got reprimanded for using the B word? Is it bad over yonder? It's not in the states here. ("Karma is a B" is an actual saying)


Sorry about the dig on your NPC's but they had it coming for the many times they "stepped" in my way.

Someone went to a kindergarten, asked about language rules and got back to apply these rules here. I understand when you are raising children you act in certain ways, if you tried to pull that stunt in the outside world you would get ridiculed, laugh at and singled out unless you can adapt.

Fairly standard rule in most dev/publisher run gaming forums actually, so yes, even 'in the states here'.

You should also probably refrain from mentioning you got moderated. If they're of a mind to do so, they can ding you again for that. That's also a standing rule in most dev/publisher run forums.

Most of those bounty missions will net you a bounty of your own, unless they take place in an anarchy system. Usually the reward offered far exceeds the bounty/fines you pick up. Just head over to an outpost somewhere that's aligned with the faction that issued you the infraction, pay it off, then bounce back to the originating station to turn in the mission.
