Headed to Deciat to do some engineering and to transfer over my "Actual PvP Ship" to go on patrol for gankers.

Well no soon as I arrived I had this fine fellow pull me and try to kill me, thinking I was just another Krait.

The tables turned and he runs like a chicken!

Wow. Great job and I loved those Frag Cannons? Interesting choice. Still fiddlefracking around with my Krait Phantom. I may give those things a try again. Last time I tried Frags was way before engineering.

Yeah the amount of DPS those things do is crazy!

Nice pip management. I can never keep up with pip to shields and then back again, so I run a shieldless hull tank.
Hey how come you don't sub target anything?
If you'd sub-targeted the FSD a hit spoils their wake out, doesn't it?

FAS with shields and with almost no HRPs? This is not ganker, this is an idiot. Sorry, no offence, it's just a diagnosis.

Also this video made me sad because it's another one clear proof that combat in ED is completely broken / failed mechanic - jousting, jousting, jousting, and a bit more jousting. Independently on ships, in any size/class, even for such agile fighters as FAS+Krait - nothing but jousting.
Yeah but some people like jousting. I enjoy it.

Everyone has different flying styles. You get the jousters, the reverski pilots and the orbiters. Everyone is different.

Thanks DNA! Yeah as I mentioned earlier, Frags won't really do any penetrating module damage beyond 500m (More or Less). Unless your target is straight-lining away from you and you have a clear shot to their drives, you won't really be doing that much internal damage beyond that range.

It is actually rare for me to run Frags at all! I am more a Plasma, Rail and Multi user. If I would have been in my Actual PvP setup (Dropship, Gunship or Chieftain) with my long range rails, I would have been able to get him. That's the downside of frags. Poor Range. Running a combination of Long Range Rails and Plasma or Multi-cannons gives you the ability to still hit your opponent at different ranges, and control the fight within 6kms.

I run 3 frags and 2 PAs -sometimes I can stuff a PA up their tail pipe while subtargeting the FSD before they are out of range.

It’s probably superstition - I hadn’t understood that frags don’t do penetrating damage.

Rails. Hmmm I bought a pair and engineered them for super penetrator but I’m no good and it would be kind of a project to equip and learn them.

It's not that they don't do penetrating damage, they do but at very close range. Anything beyond 1km and the spread is too wide. Ideal penetrating damage is 500m or closer. :p

I can't watch the video until later, but are these frags or pacifiers?
