KB5050009 for Win 11 24H2 broke bluetooth keyboard

Not sure if the above statement is true, but wanted to check to see if anyone else has encountered this.

I took delivery of the above update yesterday and it all seemed fine after a reboot. However, upon restarting (from a powered off state rather than sleep) my computer today, my bluetooth keyboard can no longer be discovered.

I've tried driver uninstalls and troubleshooting bits but nothing works.

Thank god I have a second keyboard.

Funnily enough I also let my computer update yesterday to the most recent updates (I'm pretty sure I had set it up so's that it won't download updates without my permission).
I don't honestly know whether it's connected to your problem but for some reason my sound system software decided to stop functioning correctly after the updates. I have a 7.1 sound system and use the Realtek Audio Console software (ASUS motherboard sound drivers).
Anyway, after (an hour or two ) trying to get it functioning again I eventually as a last resort uninstalled the complete driver software, restarted the computer and re-downloaded the software drivers again, plus a re-start. I Eventually got all the speakers working again, using the Realtek Audio control App.
I have no idea whether the windows updates were to blame, but I can't think of anything else that might have caused it!...curious.

I don't have a bluetooth keyboard, but my bluetooth headphones still work normally after the update. My keyboard uses a wireless dongle thingy, and that's working OK too.

Well, I rolled back to the previous update and reinstalled the latest. Hey presto. Worked.
