Keelback second seat in the pipeline?

It seems mad to me that the Keelback can have a fighter bay but you can't bring a friends along to fly that ship. I saw a post on Reddit stating that it was on the roadmap - as suggested in a live stream earlier this year.

Is this correct?

My Keelback has a 2nd seat. If yours doesn't I suggest you take it back to the shipyard you bought it from as the seller might have ripped you off. You didn't buy yours from Dodgy Steve did you?

I would really like an Alliance ship, something new to the Elite lore... may call it Chief something.

In fairness - top google searches said very little on it other than complain of its absence . Being a lazy , no brain keyboard jockey, I accepted the first 5 hits and went straight to 'this is madness' mode.

Yeah, I have to admit, if you don't know it from changelog or release notes or some community summary then it is hard to discover. Point taken.

Also it wasn't jab at you I think we are so used to people demanding things that it is a bit strange moment when something's already there
