Keepers not filling bowls, animals not eating - still not fixed

I've just reached the end of the tutorial segment in Goodwin Zoo, where I have to 'Increase the average habitat species Overall welfare to 90%'. However, some of my animals are starving and when called, the keepers just walk in and out of the enclosure, without filling food or water bowls.

I'm reporting this here because I can see it's a problem other people have, but on the 'Issues' page, the problem is listed as 'fixed.' It most certainly is not.

Hope this gets resolved soon.

I barely dare to ask, but have you followed the keeper after she/he left?
Did the keeper not walk to the nearest keeper hut in order to prepare food first?
Was there a free keeper hut or were they all occupied by other keepers preparing food?
If you had defined a work zone, is there a hut included?

I’m not saying there is no bug related to feeding/eating!
But whenever I read this: “... when called, the keepers just walk in and out of the enclosure, without filling food or water bowls. ...”, I have the suspicion that it might be a poor understanding of underlying game mechanics, rather than a bug.

I grant you, the game is complicated, and maybe I'm not understanding something, simply because I've only been playing for an hour. This is the tutorial remember. At this point, I have no idea what the keepers routine should be, all I know is that they're not feeding, watering, and now, not cleaning the enclosures.

Happy to admit it's a 'me' problem, but how am I supposed to know that at this stage of the game?

When the keeper leaves, do their status say they are going to the keepers hut (to prepare food) or somewhere else?

Animals that are not getting their water bowls refilled have already a natural force of water like a pond and/or a fountain?

I’ll not ask you if the works zones are correct because it’s the first scenario and I know they are.

Keepers take a while to go to prepare food and put it on the habitat. It’s better to only call them once to not slow down the process (but making sure they are doing it is good to discard bugs). If the animal have a filtered source of water, they won’t bother to fill the water bowls either. Additionally, it’s good to remember that most of the time keepers will NOT fill the food trays, they prefer to fill the enrichment items instead.

If you can verify if the keepers are really not feeding the animals or if are the animals that refuse to eat, it would be easier to spot the problem.
